POWDER CONTAINS 20% ELEMENTAL MAGNESIUM
NEW EXP: MARCH 2027
WHAT IS MAGNESIUM?
Magnesium is arguably the most important mineral in the body, since it is critical in over 300 chemical functions… including protein synthesis, bone development/repair, muscle and nerve functioning, energy production, and more.
Unfortunately, the majority of people are now magnesium deficient… which can lead to symptoms such as:
Muscle Cramps or Twitching — Numbness/Tingling — Restless Legs Syndrome — Insomnia & Sleep Disorders — Muscle Pain & Fibromyalgia — Anxiety — Type II Diabetes — Fatigue & CFS — Migraines — Osteoporosis
WHY ARE PEOPLE DEFICIENT?
Magnesium levels are now lower in natural produce… and the vast majority of people consume poor quality foods anyway. Processed and sugary foods provide almost zero magnesium… High calcium intake can inhibit the body’s ability to absorb magnesium… Frequent consumption of alcohol also blocks your magnesium intake, and can actually leech it from your body.
ARE ALL MAGNESIUM BISGLYCINATE SUPPLEMENTS THE SAME?
Actually, no! Many Mg Bisglyicinate supplements are mixed with Mg Oxide (cheap, laxative effects, and very low bio-availability), which pushes up the Magnesium levels.
This often isn’t well advertised, and the higher dose looks impressive — but many people will experience negative reactions due to the added Mg Oxide.
BISGLYCINATE VS OTHER FORMS:
There are many forms of Magnesium supplement, such as Oxide (very poor), Malate (excellent for pain relief, tiredness,CFS), Taurate (reducing stress, and cardiovascular health), Citrate (laxative effects), Ascorbate (gentle Vitamin C), Threonate (memory and brain boosting) and Bisglycinate… and these different types have advantages and disadvantages. The most common (and cheapest) form is Magnesium Oxide - which has very high levels of magnesium, but only about a 4% availability for the body - and worse, has a strong laxative effect for most people!
- Bisglycinate is Magnesium bound to Glycine (an amino acid).
- Bisglycinate is considered the best form for sleep, stress, anxiety.
- Bisglycinate is generally the most gentle form, and least likely to cause stomach issues or laxative effects.
-
Bisglycinate is one of the most bio-available.
